| CPRE Peak District & South Yorkshire are an independent charity campaigning to protect and enhance the valuable landscapes of the Peak District and South Yorkshire countryside and work to: •  Promote the understanding and enjoyment of the countryside• Enhance the landscape and ...• Engage with local communities and visitors to keep the countryside beautifulFrom moorland wilderness to limestone dale, vital Green Belt land, historic market towns and rural villages, the countryside in this area is a precious resource for everyone who values the peace, quiet and tranquility it provides. CPRE Peak District & South Yorkshire works to ensure a balance between protecting the landscape and supporting the local economy. It provides free training and advice about the planning process for individuals and community groups and lobbies the government and local councils to find the most sustainable solutions for the future of the countryside.
