LATEST NEWS : Julia normally presents the massively successful Countryfile on BBC One. However, she and Matt Baker are currently filming a new special Countryfile programme called Secret Britain for BBC One due to be broadcast in August at 9pm on Sunday evenings. They return to Countryfile in the Autumn.
IN a new prime time Sunday evening slot Julia and Matt Baker travel to the most beautiful places in the country uncovering stories, meeting people and investigating issues that effect us all. The show was relaunched to record ratings and is consistantly the 'most watched programme' on Sundays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The first show drew in 6.3million viewers – more than double the previous audience.
